The Taylor's 10 Year old tawny reveals Deep brick colour with amber rim. Rich and elegant nose combining aromas of ripe berry fruit with a delicate nuttiness and subtle mellow notes of chocolate, butterscotch and fine oak wood. Smooth and silky on the palate and full of ripe figgy, jammy flavours which persist on the long finish.
Made from a blend of some of the best wines from several vintages, Tawny Port is aged in large wood casks for almost all their life and takes on a brick-red, tawny colour. Taylor's 10 year old Tawny is an average of 10 years old.

Reviews:Going back and forth, the Taylor's 2009 has a lighter nose than the 2007 with precise dark cherry, Seville orange, fresh fig and a hint of scorched soil. The palate is full-bodied packed with ripe black cherries, fresh fig and white pepper; very harmonious and focused although I feel that the 2007 has a little more depth and persistency. Very pretty and very pure, this Taylor's may well put on weight with a couple of years in bottle and merit a higher mark. Tasted May 2011.

The main reason the 2009 Lafite Rothschild did not receive a perfect score is because the wine has closed down slightly, but it is unquestionably another profound Lafite, their greatest wine since the amazing 2003. Among the most powerful Lafites ever made (it came in at 13.59% alcohol), the final blend was 82.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot. The selection was incredibly severe with only 45% of the crop being utilized. A tight, but potentially gorgeous nose of graphite, black currants, licorice and camphor is followed by a full-bodied wine revealing the classic elegance, purity and delineated style of Lafite.

The Offley is an excellent 10 year Tawny with orange rind, marmalade, caramel and mocha flavours. The sweetness is expertly balanced within an acidic frame. Length is excellent to outstanding.
Aromas of spice cake and caramel herald a sweet, palate-coating stream of baking spice-laced nectar interweaving with espresso roast, treacle and nutty nuances that persist through the delectable aftertaste.
