The 2009 Chataeuneuf du Pape wine from Domaine Giraud is a profound, smokey, leathery nose with an intriguing aromatic note like sandalwood. Beautiful palate with a gorgeous, silky texture, and a very sweet impression. Intense, wonderfully scented Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Gallimardes has all the same characteristics, but is more forward and on a faster evolutionary track. Its dense plum/ruby/purple color is not quite as opaque as the 2010's, and its bouquet includes smoky, roasted meat notes intertwined with kirsch liqueur, lavender, licorice, pepper and layer upon layer of glycerin-imbued black cherry and black currant fruit.

Vintage Port MAGNUM Bottle 1.5Lt
Please Note: This is a rare MAGNUM format.
The Croft Vintage Port 2009 is a deep purple black colour. The nose combines an opulent and seductive fruitiness with an intricate kaleidoscope of complex multidimensional aroma. Pungent resiny scents of eucalyptus and rock rose, notes of lychee and passion-fruit combine with exotic hints of leather, musk and cedar. The palate is round and velvety and the dense but well integrated tannins are wrapped in a cloak of succulent berry fruit flavour. The jammy fruit carries through into the finish where it is lifted by an attractive crispness and pungency.

The 2009 Dow's Vintage Port Wine is exceptionally aromatic, with aromas of violets, which is quite typical of Dow's. In the nose blackberry ringtones, black currant and plum. There is also present notes of esteva contribution of the Touriga Nacional. This is a vibrating wine, which shows already quite complex and subtle. Has something of spices, from the relatively high proportion of Sousão, which are balanced by fresh acidity and minerality. On the palate its dry but firm with a long finish and ripe tannins.

Vin De Constance - Klein Constantia
Includes gift box as shown.
Since being introduced in 1986, Vin de Constance has consistently appeared in lists of the world’s top wines.
The wine is made by grapes grown on the foothills of the cool climate hills of Constantia. “The grapes are left to hang to dry on the vine and only the best bunches are selected and hand-picked,” reveals winemaker Matthew Day. “At the end of the growing season, the individual berries or raisins are hand picked to make the essence, the very heart of the Vin de Constance.”
In 2009, harvest began in late January and ended in late April, yielding 25 separate batches, each macerated and fermented differently.

La Rosa's classic house style achieved by slow maceration in traditional granite 'Lagares' has produced a wine full of luscious forward fruit with a very attractive nose and a long velvety slightly drier finish across the palate
La Rosa is a vertically integrated Quinta rising to 450 metres above sea level, boasting many hidden micro climates within its cirtilage. Where possible we vintage and mature these small 'lotes' separately in order to achieve the maximum complexity in the finished ports, which would not have been possible from a less diversely planted property.
