Vintage Port IMPERIAL 6lt Bottle
A very rare outstanding 6 litre bottle of 2009 vintage Port Wine from Fonseca.
Impenetrable black colour. A classic Fonseca nose dominated by an exuberant, hedonistic fruitiness, a powerful redolence of dark dense blackberry and blackcurrant which slowly releases a heady mix of spicy and herbal aromas, seductive notes of coffee and cocoa, hints of prune and wild scents of gum cistus. The thick velvety tannins give the wine a voluptuous density, integrating effortlessly with the sumptuous infusion of blackberry jam, dark chocolate and liquorice which coats the palate. The tannins are also present on the finish which brims with blackberry and blackcurrant flavour.

(from .47 ha parcel planted in 1930) A very fresh, cool and bright nose speaks of red berry fruit, warm earth, underbrush and a hint of the sauvage that carries over to the supple but entirely serious medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent precision on the firm, focused and persistent finish.

Vin De Constance - Klein Constantia
Includes gift box as shown.
Since being introduced in 1986, Vin de Constance has consistently appeared in lists of the world’s top wines.
The wine is made by grapes grown on the foothills of the cool climate hills of Constantia. “The grapes are left to hang to dry on the vine and only the best bunches are selected and hand-picked,” reveals winemaker Matthew Day. “At the end of the growing season, the individual berries or raisins are hand picked to make the essence, the very heart of the Vin de Constance.”
In 2009, harvest began in late January and ended in late April, yielding 25 separate batches, each macerated and fermented differently.

An outstanding 2009 vintage Port Wine from Quinta do Vesuvio.
"As ever, Vesuvio is packed with its generous, opulent ripe fruit, showing richness, dense flavors, layers of jam and sweetness with a hint of caramel flavors. This is a Port for indulgence, ripe, rich and packed with flavor." - 93 / 100 Points, Wine Enthusiast.

Marques de Riscal Reserva
Magnum 1.5 lt
"Intense black-cherry color with good depth of color and hardly any signs of evolution. Very expressive aromas on the nose with notes of liquorice, cinnamon and black pepper, with just a subtle hint of the long cask-aging, thanks to its great complexity and ripe, concentrated fruit. Fresh and easy to drink on the palate, good backbone and lovely, polished tannins. The long, persistent finish leaves gentle balsamic reminders of the finest quality." ~Winery Notes

Savigny Les Beaune VV Domaine Phillipe Girard
Produced from 60 year old vines and aged for 10 months in 15% to 20% new oak barrels. A light ruby colour with a fruity nose of cherry and raspberry, although there is a slight hint of oak. This is a harmonious well-balanced wine that will only improve with a few years of bottle age.

Vintage Port SINGLE 75cl bottle
95 Points - Wine Journal
Reviews:Going back and forth, the Taylor's 2009 has a lighter nose than the 2007 with precise dark cherry, Seville orange, fresh fig and a hint of scorched soil. The palate is full-bodied packed with ripe black cherries, fresh fig and white pepper; very harmonious and focused although I feel that the 2007 has a little more depth and persistency. Very pretty and very pure, this Taylor's may well put on weight with a couple of years in bottle and merit a higher mark. Tasted May 2011.

Vosne Romanee Les Chaumes 1er Cru 2009 Domaine Meo Camuzet.
Vosne Romanee Les Chaumes 1er Cru 2009 Domaine Meo Camuzet. Winemaker Notes
There is much finesse and elegance in this wine, very typical of the Vosne-Romanée appellation. Fullness and charm coexist here in a wine which is not as awe-inspiring as the superb 'crus', 'les Brûlées' and 'Cros Parantoux', but which is easy to drink and will quickly seduce you
Dark fruit flavors of black currant and blackberry grace this velvety red, whose dusty tannins and acidity keep it focused and lingering. Balanced in a large-scaled way, with a tight finish. Be patient.
